Since we want the highest quality courses run at Big Blue we provide practice and additional training for every Instructor/Divemaster in the group, we regularly run closed door events to keep everyones skills sharp and up to date.

We regularly run trips overseas or locally for members, more times than not we need qualified people to run these events throughout the year.

Part-time Scuba Diving Instructor

An instructor has many roles in the diving industry, we're always looking to expand our team, the ideal candidate would instill passion in people, provide up to date information on equipment and make recommendations on experience, run courses to the highest possible standards and handle logistics and safety, and have fun while doing it!

Responsibilities

• Teach Scuba diving courses (from OW to DM level)
• Serve as Group Leader on dive trips to South-East Asia
• Train team on how to manage equipment
• Edit Big Blue Newsletter (English version)
• Fill tanks (Air and Nitrox)
• Introduce diving courses, trips and equipment to our customers
• Create a marketing plan and ensure its proper implementation
• Handle marketing, scheduling, and customer-service functions

Requirements

• PADI OWSI or higher
• Strong knowledge of scuba diving and diving industry (experience with dive marketing is preferred)
• Must have good teamwork, sales and communication skills
• Must have good customer service skills
• Must have a passion for the work, be active, and be willing and able to learn quickly
• Must be considerate and polite
• Have driving license is preferred

Language Requirements

• Advanced English
• Knowledge of Chinese a big plus

Salary

• 3,000RMB per month
• Plus Instructor fee and monthly sales commission
• 3,000RMB accommodation fee per month
• Free lunch on working days
• Work visa provided
